Food for - Lucas North -

Characterisation of Lucas North

Lucas North is an insecure character, who wants to fit in and show his abilities and fitness to be taken seriously in his profession and by his peers, a veneer he wants to hide behind. He demands the highest from himself, but internally fears, that he won't be able to meet the demands put on him by his job and others, because of his background, because of his upbringing, because of his time spent in a Russian prison (and as the last episode of Spooks 9 also suggests) because of all his lies of and in his life he tried so hard to hide.

Food suggestion for Lucas North

Carpaccio (Original version developed by Giuseppe Cipriani in Venice) - with white bread and an excellent vintage Italian red wine - (Heeding the current Italian food appreciation in the U.K., while still fitting his desire for rawness and immediacy).

Later to relax, his time in Russia would come out and show in his further choice:
Russian caviar - champagne (vodca would be too disabling for an agent and Lucas North has too much style to drug himself senselessly). Russian blini as a sweet dessert.

Lucas North, as pale as he is, does not seem to me as an entirely healthy or health oriented man. So vegetables are out of the question for him.

Ties or No Ties ...

Fasching
is a funny occasion, where opposites are exchanged, fun is made of all and everything is turned round and made into its opposite.
With all this changes, today is the special day for women to take the reign in Fasching. "Weiberfasching"
and its the day when women may 'cut ties'.
Perhaps you can guess what the ties are meant to represent.
But as Fasching does no bodily harm (except for self induced excesses with alcohol), the ties must suffice ;o)

I just could not resist (though I normally stay quite far away from any 'Faschings-Trubel'):

Must draw out my scissors ...

Schnipp ....

But I fear, I was not the first who's intent was set on this special tie ...

The Faschings-slogan of my village (though I will leave out the name of it in the slogan.)
"... Narretei - Alle dabei!"

Have a funny and relaxed time, with or without Fasching !

P.S.: Sorry, did the cut outs in a rush and not with the immediate intention to put them on a dark background.

Lucas / John & Harry (FanVideo)

I could not leave the ending of Spooks 9 as it is. I just had to modify it with my own version. To do this, I made my own ending out of video clips from Spooks 7.
I hope you will enjoy it.

The video took a while to get finished, as I had major problems with the soundtrack. I had to do a mixed-down recording of the whole soundtrack, as the preview version was all right, only the final rendered version did cut different sound clips than the related video clips.

Birthday Video

Though the topic of this blog is a certain person, I do not mention his name here, as I do not want to get the attention boost through his already established fanbase. This is a blog to talk about my experiences with this for me unexpected fandom and the acting and film appearances of this certain person.
One of my ways to cope with my fandom was to create fan videos:

I hope you enjoy the example given here.
